How do I view the CD's?

All of our CD' s are auto loading, which means it should run automatically when inserted into your CD ROM drive. No computer knowledge is necessary to use our CD's. Once the main page has loaded, just click on the links to the individual books provided. They will open in Adobe Acrobat which is a standard program on personal computers. The material contained on all the CD's, black & white text or color photographs, are completely printable as a whole or as individual pages

What kind of manuals are on your CD's?

Most of the manuals on our CD's are old and new military manuals. We try to have the latest issued manuals on all of our CD's. The older manuals are vintage manuals dating to the time period of the era of the collection.

What operating system do I need to view the CD's?

Our CD's are designed to work on XP/Vista/Windows 7 operating systems. Our CD's are even viewable with Macintosh operating systems as long as you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, but they will not auto load like on PC's. You will need to navigate to your CD drive and click on the index page. The downloadable version of the CD's will not work on a MAC computer.

How do I view the downloads?

All of the downloadable ebooks are self executables. That means that when you click on the file, it will self run. Some of the files on the ebooks are rather large and may take extra time to uncompress and open in Adobe Acrobat and sometimes on older and slower computers they will not function properly I would suggest purchasing the CD version rather than the downloadable version. Please be patient, and they will open. If you have problems with a download, please contact us here. It is recommended that you have the latest version of Adobe Reader installed on your computer. You can download it free here.

What if I have a problem viewing a CD?

Generally we do not expect you to have any problems with our CD's since they run themselves, but if you do experience a problem, you can contact us and we will resolve any problems you might have experienced. We want to make sure that you are enjoying your new CD's and will tell your friends about eMilitary Manuals.
